Jeff Green has gone from a promising talent to a journeyman veteran all in a matter of three years. He joined the Orlando Magic last year on a big one-year, $15 million contract and much like the Magic season overall, it was a lackluster showing.
Now he’s looking to chase a ring and he’s going to stay in the Eastern Conference to do it. Green has agreed to join the Cleveland Cavaliers on a one-year minimum deal worth 2.3 million.
Following comes from Jeff Zillgitt of USA Today and Brian Windhorst of ESPN.

As the Warriors continue to rack up veteran bench pieces, the Cavs continue to do the same. They started their free agency period by agreeing to terms with Jose Calderon and now they bring in Green who will presumably eat up the minutes Derrick Williams had last year.
