Free agent forward Derrick Favors and the Utah Jazz have agreed on a deal to keep the 26-year-old in Utah, according to Tony Jones of the Salt Lake Tribune.
The deal is a two-year, $36 million agreement, according to Jones. The second year of his deal is non-guaranteed.

Favors held a meeting with members of the Jazz organization Sunday night in Atlanta, including some of his teammates from this season. The meeting lasted several hours, with Favors officially making his decision on Monday afternoon.
Favors, who’s represented by Wallace Prather of Prather Sports, has been the subject of trade rumors throughout the past two seasons with Utah. He averaged 12.3 points and 7.2 rebounds in 77 starts this year, shooting a respectable 56 percent from the floor.
Favors has been with the Jazz organization for eight seasons and will enter his ninth season in the fall. Drafted No. 3 by New Jersey in 2010, Favors is the longest-tenured player on the Jazz.
The Jazz still have a decision to make on restricted free agent Dante Exum, and could create space by moving on from forwards Jonas Jerebko or Ekpe Udoh. Point guard Raul Neto also remains a restricted free agent, although his future with the team is currently more unclear.
