After the recent rants by Funkmaster Flex, the news that JAY Z is in talks to buy Hot 97 is kind of hilarious. According to MediaTakeOut, HOV and his group of investors are in serious talks and he has Carmelo Anthony on board as well.
According to a ROCK SOLID SOURCE – Shawn “Jay Z” Carter along with a group of investors that includes NY Knicks star Carmelo Anthony are currently NEGOTIATING TO BUY Hot 97 radio station. Talks are still early, but we’re told that both sides have HIRED LAWYERS and INVESTMENT BANKERS – and are serious in getting a deal done.
This could be the reason why Flex was losing his mind over the airwaves this past weekend. Furthermore, the execution of his diatribe was done poorly and if things remind true, he may have outed himself.
