The Houston Rockets have their roster in place at least they thought so.
Apparently, veteran shooting guard Jason Terry could have a change of heart after the New Orleans Pelicans made a slightly higher offer than the Rockets veteran minimum offer.

Jason Terry is a perfect fit in the Houston Rockets system a team that is known for their offense, and they shoot the three ball a lot.
The Rockets led the league in 3 point attempts last season with 32 a game, and more than likely that trend will continue.
If the Rockets lose Terry it’s not a horrible loss thanks to the addition of Ty Lawson, but it would be a big gain for a Pelicans team that is lacking the depth at shooting guard since oft-injured Eric Gordon and Tyreke Evans are realistically their only reliable players at shooting guard.
Terry can play a little point guard, but the signing of Toney Douglas earlier this week helps provide depth and the team will look to re-sign Norris Cole.
If you’re the Rockets do you let Terry go? He’s a good locker room guy and can hit provide a spark off the bench it’s not going to make or break Houston’s season.
Is this a smart move for Terry? Either way he’s in a position to compete, but the Rockets have a better chance at a championship right now.
Jason Terry is playing it smart personally though with a team offering nearly $1 million more he does have leverage which everyone knows you can’t play basketball forever.
