Jason Peters, a nine-time Pro Bowler and future Hall of Famer as an offensive tackle, is re-joining the Philadelphia Eagles but is moving positions. The Eagles have confirmed that Peters will spend another year with the team, but is now designating him as a guard.

The moving of Peters, who’s been a fixture of the Eagles’ offensive line since 2009, to guard follows the injury sustained by fellow Pro Bowler Brandon Brooks, who tore his Achilles last month. Both Brooks and Peters were stalwarts in the Philly offensive line that helped their team claim victory in Super Bowl 52.
With Peters coming back, the Eagles’ roster is continuing to take shape, with the team drafting sought-after wide receiver Jalen Reagor, as well as signing elite defensive back Darius Slay in March.
