Former Milwaukee Bucks head coach Jason Kidd has reportedly interviewed for the same position with the Detroit Pistons according to Jordan Schultz of Yahoo Sports. Kidd was fired from the position with the Bucks midway through last season.

Detroit is plodding along in their search for front office and coaching positions. The Pistons parted ways with Stan Van Gundy after failing to make the playoffs the past two seasons. The team hired former Grizzlies front office man Ed Stefanski to get one person in place, but more pieces are required. To muddy the waters further Detroit parted ways with general manager Jeff Bower as well, meaning they will have essentially replaced the entire front office by the end of this.
The coaching staff will have been replaced as well, which brings up Jason Kidd. The former point guard interviewed with the Phoenix Suns, but did not get a second interview. Detroit has interviewed several other coaches too, including former Toronto Raptors coach Dwane Casey and most recently University of Michigan basketball coach John Beilein.
