Over the past several years, Pepsi has went forth to build a longstanding history with the NFL through sponsorship, which also sees the brand going all out when it comes to promotion and creating memorable commercials year after year. Enlisting some of the help of superstars like Beyonce, Shaquille O’Neal, Britney Spears, and many others, Janelle Monea finds herself being the most recent person to land the honor of starring in a Pepsi Super Bowl commercial. With an amazing 2015 of her own, the singer went forth to launch new artists from her record label, Wondaland Records, along with seeing success of her own with her recent hit, ‘Yoga.’ If that wasn’t enough, the singer embarked on a tour with the her fellow label creatives in support of their EP, Wondaland Presents: The Eephus. Being just as equally known from her eclectic style and her amazing dance moves, Janelle let her footwork do the talking as she kills the dance-floor in every way possible through what appears to be time travel. A good look indeed, here’s to Janelle Monae starting off her 2016 in a high note.
