Put your seatbelt’s on because this is a strange story.
Jamie Foxx is being accused of slapping a woman with his Penis back in 2002 and although she has gone to the police, Foxx is denying the accusations and is even looking to fight back legally.
Supposedly, the assault happened over 16 years ago in Las Vegas. Now the woman has reported the incident to Las Vegas police, claiming that she and her friends were at a party at Foxx’s house when Jamie asked for oral sex. When she denied it to him, Foxx allegedly slapped her with his penis.
Now there’s no source on the incident and there’s no telling if this is true but if she does end up going to court for this, it is definitely past the statute of limitations. On the other side of things, Jamie Foxx is also profoundly denying the claims, even going as far as getting his lawyer involved.
“Jamie emphatically denies that this incident ever occurred, and he will be filing a report with the Las Vegas Police Department against the woman for filing a false police report against him. The first time [Jamie] became aware of this woman’s absurd claims about an incident that supposedly occurred 16 years ago was when TMZ contacted his representatives [Tuesday] about this story.”
Hart adds, “The alleged incident was not reported to law enforcement in 2002, or at any other time in the last 16 years until last Friday because the incident never happened.”
There’s no denying that the current climate in Hollywood and around the world is to stop incidents like this from happening, if true. However, it seems like every week we’re hearing a new story about a celebrity. When can we stop with the accusations without proof? All this is doing is dragging Foxx name in the mud and potentially ruining his career. While #MeToo movements and other movements that are helping empower women to speak up is both important and necessary, there has got to be a balance. We’ll see what happens when the smoke clears and we find the truth. Until then, this is all mere speculation.
