Former NBA guard/forward James Nunnally will not play for at least one month, his team Fenerbahce Dogus announced.

Fenerbahce Dogus’s statement:

During the EuroLeague game last night against Baskonia, James Nunnally gave the ball on the fast break and dunked it. Afterwards, he fell down after the dunk and he couldn’t stand up.

It was first determined that there was no permanent damage to Nunnally as he also got the neck and spine tests. However, follow-up tests confirmed that Nunnally suffered a pretty serious hand injury. As a result of the tests on Nunnally, doctors determined that the left hand of the veteran player was broken.

Nunnally’s injury position:

So far in Euroleague, James Nunnally played 16 games in reigning Euroleague champions Fenerbahce Dogus uniform. He’s averaging 10.4 points per game, 2.5 rebounds per game, and 1.7 assists per game.

In the NBA, Nunnally was played for Atlanta Hawks and Philadelphia 76ers (total: 13 games, 3.4 points per game, 1.5 rebounds per game, 0.6 assists per game) in the 2013-2014 NBA season.
