I guess the beard as THAT much power.
Jason Terry recently resigned with the Rockets, giving Houston something they didn’t have a year ago, point guard depth. With Terry back, the team also resigning defensive minded Patrick Beverley, and trading for Ty Lawson, the Rockets can be a scary team in the West this season.
It was reported that The Jet was considering signing with the Pelicans, before ultimately deciding to return to Houston. Apparently, James Harden wasn’t going to let that happen.
Mark Berman of Fox’s 26 in Houston spoke with Terry after he decided to return and explains why James Harden wouldn’t let him skip town.
(Harden) was all over me,” Terry said. “He basically wasn’t letting me go anywhere. That was tough for me knowing how important I am to his growth and his development.”
“You’re not the main guy, but the main guy needs you. It makes it a lot easier to come back.”
The Rockets were devastated by injuries last season, which really seemed to hurt them in the Playoffs as James Harden was really their only threat on the floor most times, which hurt the team when the Based God cursed him. With Terry coming back, the addition of Ty Lawson, and Patrick Beverley and Donatas Montiejunas returning from injury, watch out for the Rockets.
