Harden’s triple-double comes at an opportune time for the Rockets and it also keeps James among the leaders in the MVP race. James is fitting into his new ‘points guard’ role very well under Mike D’Antoni’s system. It doesn’t come as a surprise that he is thriving. The real test coming up for Harden will be another game against the Spurs this weekend. You have to imagine coach Pop won’t allow Harden to embarrass him again. Or at the least, he’ll try to return the favor and get a road win in Houston.
