James Harden is enjoying his offseason quite a bit. When he’s not dominating the Drew League, the Rockets guard is surprising fans in Houston.
In a video produced by SLAM Magazine, Harden surprises grocery store shoppers and young campers in Houston. He does so by posing as an employee for BodyArmor, the sports drink he endorses.
Harden even took some time to play knockout with the young kids at a basketball camp. Of course, he had a bit of an athletic and size advantage over the seemingly seven-year-olds. (Side note: dunking should not be allowed in knockout especially if you are an NBA player competing against little kids).
Harden then taught the innocent, young children his cooking dance. There is no word on whether any parents have sued Harden for negligence just yet. However, I would be immensely angry if my child was about to be cursed by the Based God because of Harden’s stubbornness and poor leadership.
All jokes aside, this is a really cool gesture by James Harden. Those kids got the opportunity of a lifetime to meet a hero (while he promoted his endorsed drink to them). Props to Harden for this.
