
Jamel “Mel Murda” Jones, a key figure in the Tekashi 6ix9ine racketeering case is sentenced to 135 months behind bars on multiple charges.
Complex reports Jamel “Mel Murda” or “Mel Matrix” Jones, the alleged Godfather of the Nine Trey Blood Gang will serve 135 months in federal prison. Jones also will be probation for 5-years following his release and pay $10,000 in forfeiture. Jones plead guilty to racketeering and narcotics charges including trafficking heroin and fentanyl.
An audio-recorded conversation reveals Jamel “Mel Murda” Jones being told to violate Tekashi 6ix9ine by a man now identified as Dipset rapper Jim Jones after Tekashi 6ix9ine publically denounced the Nine Trey Bloods.
Tekashi 6ix9ine admitted to using the gang’s notoriety to boost his rap career. His testimony resulted in Anthony “Harv” Ellison and Aljermiah “Nuke” Mack being found guilty on multiple charges.
Tekashi 6ix9ine, who reportedly recently signed a new multi-million dollar record deal, will be sentenced on December 18, 2019.
