Jake Paul has found the location for his next event. The YouTube star turned boxer has announced that he will be fighting at Madison Square Garden on August 6, 2022 against an unnamed opponent. Additionally, Amanda Serrano will fight in the co-main event against an unnamed opponent.
“Back in the gym, back to training and excited, more excited and motivated than ever,” Paul said leading up to the announcement.
“You know, that was Chapter 1 of my boxing career, that was my rookie season, and now I get to go on another chapter here.”
Jake Paul last fought Tyron Woodley in December at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida. Paul was leading on all three judges’ scorecards when he secured a knockout victory in the sixth round.
Prior to Paul’s second bout with Woodley, he was set to fight Tommy Fury. However, Fury was forced to pull out of the contest due to an injury. Fury has been identified as a potential opponent for Paul. Former UFC champion Anderson Silva, former middleweight champion Julio César Chavez Jr. and Conor McGregor have all been identified as potential opponents for Paul.
As for Amanda Serrano, she last fought Katie Taylor in April at Madison Square Garden. Taylor secured a close decision victory after 10 rounds. Despite selling out the venue, Taylor and Serrano could not come to terms for an immediate rematch. At this time, it is unclear who Serrano will fight next.
