Actress Jada Pinkett-Smith is expected to join her former Set It Off co-star in an upcoming episode of The Equalizer. Smith will reportedly play the role of Jessie Cook, a world-renowned thief with a photographic memory.
“Smith will guest star as Jessie Cook, a savant-level thief with a photographic memory. Though she’s brilliant and the best at what she does, she’s also devious, unpredictable and amoral,” the character description reads, according to Deadline.
“Briefly recruited by the CIA for her skills, Jessie and McCall once worked a mission together back in the day, and though the two get along like oil and water, they’re a whole lot of fun to watch.”
Pinkett-Smith is the latest celebrity to earn a guest spot on the popular CBS series. Earlier this month, Rick Ross played the role of a rapper looking to secure his freedom and his family’s safety. Moving forward, CBS will continue to secure the help of guest stars to drive their growing television imprint.
