One of Tom Clancy’s most infamous spies will return for a 3rd season. Even before the 2nd season airs on television.
‘Jack Ryan’ debut on Amazon Prime in 2018 to the positive reception of many fans around the world. With that in mind, the studio decided to move ahead with a 2nd season and film it, like any sane production company would. Now, even without releasing it’s highly anticipated 2nd season, Amazon has announced that the John Krasinski spy show will be renewed for a 3rd season.
Season two, picked up several months before the series debuted, will take Ryan to South America and involve him in what executive producer Carlton Cuse (Lost, Bates Motel) calls “an allegory for the decline of democracy.” The season went into production last summer, but its release date hasn’t been announced yet. Now the studio is already making plans for its 3rd season
Krasinski, who is most commonly known as Jim from the hit comedy show ‘The Office’, has been on a tear lately. First, receiving awards for his film ‘A Quiet Place’ and now as Jack Ryan in the action television series. If you told me 10 years ago that Jim from the office would be playing a Bond-esque type of spy, I would have you drug tested. But now, it seems fitting and more importantly, successful. All the best to John Krasinski and his future in Hollywood.
