J.I.D makes his TV debut two days after his album release.
J.I.D dropped his highly-anticipated second studio album DiCaprio 2 on November 26. And on Wednesday, the Dreamville signee made his TV debut on the Tonight Show.
J.I.D was joined on stage by BJ the Chicago Kid and Thundercat to perform “Skrawberries,” which appears on DiCaprio 2. The performance was in dedication to Mac Miller, who was a close friend to the rapper and had a major hand in producing and arranging the album. In an Instagram post, he stated,
“My niece and my mom love this song, I only wanted to empower women in this moment that’s why we decided to perform it on national Tv, and we dedicate this performance to Mac Miller our brother…we love you”
