J. Cole is basking in the moment. After a year’s worth of success due to the release of his third studio album, 2014 Forest Hills Drive, J. Telling a story and conveying a strong message with his latest body of work, it was only fitting that Jermaine use one last stepping stone to maximize everything surrounding 2014 Forest Hills Drive. In a previously announced partnership with HBO, Mr. Cole shared that his homecoming concert for his tour in support of his latest LP would be aired on the network on January 9th. To the joy of many and just last week, J. Cole revealed that the homecoming special would be a 5-part series that would lead up to the concert as the 5th reveal. Already premiering episode 1, “F**k Money, Spread Love,” viewers had a chance to see the final moments of the album’s creative process, along with fan interaction, love, and so much more.
