
According to a report from Bloody Disgusting, an ‘IT’ directors cut is expected to arrive at some point during 2018. The film just received it’s digital release earlier this week and many were sad to see that a directors cut was not seemingly in the cards.
Taking it upon themselves, Bloody Disgusting reached out the film’s director Andy Muschetti and asked him about the potential for a directors cut. He promptly responded with “Yes, but in a few months”. This news will ring true to many fans ears who felt that the theatrical version held back a little in order to appeal to a bigger audience. Which it certainly did succeed at seeing that it is the highest grossing horror film of all time.
