Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Isaiah Thomas has directed vitriol toward Boston Celtics GM Danny Ainge ever since the latter traded the former for Kyrie Irving. Thomas has forgiven Ainge, he tells Tom Westerholm of MassLive:
“Have I forgiven Danny?” Thomas said, as he exited his press conference. “He texted me last night. So yeah, we’re good.”
The two also apparently “bro hugged:”
All apparently good tween IT and Ainge. Thomas: "Have I forgiven Danny? He texted me last night, so, yeah, we’re good." Certainly a great thaw in hallway, where both indulged in bro hugs.

Thomas played his first game for the Cavs on Tuesday, scoring 17 points in just under 19 minutes of action. He sat out the game in Boston the following night, and the Celtics didn’t play a tribute video for him at his own request – Thomas wants to be active for that game.
Thomas joked that the only “hard feeling” he has toward the GM of his former team is that he didn’t send him a Christmas card this year, despite having sent one to Thomas’ family the past two years.
