First time All-Star Isaiah Thomas seems to be enjoying the festivities of the weekend thus far, but perhaps he’s also doing a bit of recruiting while up in Toronto?
From Boston Celtics’ team reporter Marc D’Amico:
#IsaiahThomas says a player, who he will not name, asked him about Boston… As in that player is interested in joining the Celtics.

Which All-Star is it? Maybe Atlanta Hawks’ center Al Horford.
From CSNNE’s A. Sherrod Blakely:
I. Thomas said an all star this weekend asked him about Boston. When Al Horford's name was mentioned, IT smiled, "I didn't say (his name)"

Of all the All-Stars, Horford would make the most sense, because there have been a multitude of rumors surrounding a Celtics-Horford trade in recent weeks.
Horford would be a good fit on the Celtics. He’s an excellent two-way center, and feels like the sort of player who could fit in well in Brad Stevens’ system. Horford, at 6’10”, isn’t too big for a center, and can be used in smaller lineups. Horford can stretch the floor to some degree as well. He’s shooting 34% on a career-high 2.9 3-point attempts per game this season.
Horford was not originally named an All-Star, but was a last-minute replacement for injured Chris Bosh.
