The 2020 NBA Draft has received the majority of its declarations with the deadline fast approaching. Arkansas Razorback’s sophomore guard Isaiah Joe added his name to that list, but will not hire an agent to maintain his college eligibility. Joe is a talented guard that could lean either way in his decision to stay in college or go to the 2020 NBA Draft. The feedback could be limited because of the Coronavirus Outbreak, but that feedback will largely help him make the decision. Joe is projected to be a late first-round pick or an early second-round pick.
Eric Musselman: Isaiah Joe has submitted his paperwork for the NBA draft. He has not hired an agent leaving the door open for a possible return for the 2021 season.

Joe has two years left of college eligibility, but a first-round projection could see him decide to forgo those two years. His numbers jumped in his second year, but his field goal and three-point percentages did go down. Joe’s sophomore year had him average 16.9 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 1.4 steals per game. His field goal percentage was 36.7 percent while his three-point percentage was 34.2 percent.

Joe’s decision will largely depend on what kind of projection he receives from the NBA. He was a large part of head coach Eric Musselman’s new Razorback rebuild. The team will have a small setback without him, but there is still a chance he comes back to Arkansas. The possible lack of an NBA Combine could mean Joe doesn’t get the feedback he wants to hear. A junior Isaiah Joe could be a deadly player in the SEC next year.
