Is the jig going up, on a Monday?
If you’ve kept your eyes peeled to Twitter or simply follow @TAXSTONE, then you’ve probably seen what has been unearthed. Did Troy Ave literally re-rap and gift “All About The Money” to the world? We’re not positive, since Manolo Rose’s version could be a reference track that was supposed to go to Troy Ave anyway. Also, Rose is credited on the song, so likelihood of foul play may be unlikely.
However, from a creative standpoint this revelation has rubbed a few folks (on Twitter, at least) the wrong way. Is it possible that Manolo Rose is Troy Ave’s ghostwriter? Blasphemy? A reach? Too far-fetched? Those speculations will remain in the air along with the looming jig. Regardless, it seems like a sizable chunk of online personalities have been waiting for something like this to unravel. I mean the tweets speak for themselves.
