Could there be a Gone Girl sequel in the future?! Maybe.
According to Gone Girl screenwriter, Gillian Flynn, fans may be seeing Amy [Rosamund Pike] and Nick [Ben Affleck]!
Speaking with the New York Daily News, Flynn stressed that if a sequel were to happen, it would have to involve the same cast and crew.
“There could be a sequel at some point if everyone is game to get the gang back together.
It would have to have the exact same people to do it – I would want Rosamund, Ben and Fincher to do it!
It could be really fun a few years from now!
“We could pick it up and see what those crazy Dunnes are up to a few years down the road and if they got on – not well, I don’t think!”
She even addressed Affleck’s nude scene:
“I was all for the cinema realite. He was a total method actor and in playing a man who got in the shower, he played a man who got in the shower.
I didn’t know exactly how they would film it. I think the screenplay says they get in the shower so I cannot take credit for that!”
The Golden Globe nominated film follows Nick’s turmoil after the strange and mysterious disappearance of his wife Amy, and also stars Neil Patrick Harris and Tyler Perry.
