Apple’s next smart phone, which may be called either the iPhone 6 or the iPhone 5s, is the company’s answer to regaining some of the marketshare that was lost thanks to Samsung’s Galaxy S4. The phone will be running Apple’s iOS 7, which is Apple’s latest software update. iOS 7 includes an all new design and adds many new features to the device, making it one of the most radical changes to the iPhone’s interface. More details about iOS 7, which we first mentioned back in January, can be found on Apple’s own website.
As far as looks go, the iPhone 5s/6 will look like its predecessors with the usual aluminum design. Rumors have also claimed that Apple has been testing larger screens, leading online speculation to believe that Apple’s new smart phone will include a 4.3-inch display.
The price has yet to be announced but it is safe to assume that it will be priced similarly to previous iPhones. The phone is expected to be announced in September and released sometime near the end of September. There will be more information posted as soon as it becomes available so stay tuned.
