Towards the end of 2018, Innanet James dropped his latest project, Keep It Clean. The project from the Maryland native came with nearly thirty minutes of new music spread out over eight tracks. Alongside the Maryland native, Pusha T, Rexxlife Raj and more delivered guest verses. One of the standout guest appearances on the 2018 project came from rising R&B artist, Taliwhoah, on the song, “Memories”.
Nearly six months after dropping the project, Innanet James is back with a new visual for the song, “Memories”. In the new video, James can be seen going through a normal day before taking things back to the crib to chill with rising R&B act. Overall, the new video from James fits into the smooth, laid back vibe that James exudes in much of his music.
When asked about the new video, James said, “The inspiration for the song was nostalgia. It’s got a real groove/dance vibe to it but it’s also about where I’m from and the things you experience growing up in Maryland.” He also said, “The video inspiration plays into that as well, I wanted to keep that nostalgic feel.”
The Maryland artist is currently on the Milky Way tour with Bas of Dreamville.
