The Indiana Pacers have returned harmony to their preferred front office construction. According to Adrian Wojnarowski of “The Vertical”, the Pacers have hired a new front office executive to work under Kevin Pritchard.

This is the format the organization had with Larry Bird in the fold and now they again have it with the former long time Portland Trail Blazer exec. Buchanan served as the director of scouting for 10 years with Portland before moving to Charlotte and gets the opportunity of a lifetime with Indiana. The Pacers have also had Buchanan in their sites since Bird left.
The Indiana Pacers have received permission to interview Hornets exec Chad Buchanan for a spot in their front office, league sources say.

The Pacers will need everyone they can to get the best value for Paul George, hopefully Buchanan is able to help execute a profitable trade for them.
