
Marvel series have been influx over the past few months. At the end of last year, Marvel made headlines when shows like Luke Cage, Daredevil and The Punisher were cancelled. However, Marvel decided to close out their series, Jessica Jones, with one more season set to appear on Netflix. Meanwhile, Marvel is continuing its relationship with Hulu through their latest series, Runaways.
At the end of the last calendar year, Hulu kicked off a brand new season of Runaways. The series centers around six teenagers who unite to take on their parents, The Pride. Today, Hulu announced that after a successful sophomore season that they had renewed the series for another ten episode season.
After the announcement was made, show runners, Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, said, “We are so excited to tell more ‘Runaways’ stories and are so grateful to Marvel, Hulu, our amazing cast and crew and of course our passionate audience.” The two added, “Season three will be a magical time on Runaways, as we deepen our connection to the Marvel universe. We are honored to continue to play in the sandbox created by Brian K Vaughn and Adrian Alphona.”
