Matthew Libatique, Director of Photography for the film Noah tweeted the image above, which has me even more excited about the biblical epic being brought to the big screen!
If you look closely, you can see heaps of snakes, as well as the body an alligator.
And for those unfamiliar with the story of Noah, it’s essentially a story in the bible in which God causes a great flood to purge the earth of all things evil. Noah is the only just man in the world in the eyes of God so he and his family are spared. They build an Ark and they must take two of every animal aboard to recreate a new world once the earth has been “cleaned,” so to speak.
The film is set to be released in March of 2014. Yeah, two years of waiting, but Aronofsky is the man who brought you Black Swan, and that was an excellent film.
