Halle Berry is set to star alongside Mark Wahlberg in the upcoming Netflix release, Our Man From Jersey. The film’s logline has not been shared, but it is being described as a “blue-collar James Bond” story. David Guggenheim of Designated Survivor will write the script while Wahlberg works alongside Stephen Levinson to produce the film.
Berry is an accomplished actress who has shaped Hollywood for more than two decades. In recent years, she’s made her presence felt in a major way. Over the last few years, she’s starred in films like Kidnap, Kingsman: The Golden Circle, Kings, Bruised and John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum. She also executive produced two seasons of the original series, Boomerang. Not to mention, she’s also set to star in an upcoming film called Moonfall.
Wahlberg has been equally as busy. Over the last few years, he has starred in and produced several films like Infinite, Joe Bell, Spenser Confidential and Scoob! He is also slated to star in the 2022 release, Uncharted.
As far as James Bond-like films are concerned, the two are veterans. Wahlberg has appeared in the aforementioned film, Infinite. He has also appeared in The Italian Job and Max Payne. In 2002, Berry starred in the Die Another Day alongside Pierce Brosnan.
