Free agent Greg Monroe has received interest from quite a few teams, but with teams striking out on their original targets we have a couple more that may turn their attention towards the 5 year veteran.
The Milwaukee Bucks set their sights on Tyson Chandler early on in free agency, but he chose the Phoenix Suns.

Also the Trail Blazers are clearly throwing up the white flag in the LaMarcus Aldridge sweepstakes, and they’ll now turn their focus towards a replacement in the post in Greg Monroe.
Monroe and the Pistons clearly set to move on from one another which is not surprising after the two failed to come to an agreement.
Monroe is averaging 14 points and 9 rebounds on his career and will provide either team with a much needed post player on offense, which Monroe would serve as the Aldridge replacement in Portland and fills a need in the paint for the Milwaukee Bucks.
Don’t be surprised if the Blazers step their game up in pursuit of the power forward after dealing Nicolas Batum and the team on the verge of losing Wes Matthews and LaMarcus Aldridge they’ll need to try to give star point guard Damian Lillard a guy he can hopefully count on.
