Gran Turismo 5 is finally on it’s last legs, but before it’s online features go out for good Polyphony Digital is giving GT5 users one last event. GT5 users who participate in this event will be able to unlock cars for Gran Turismo 6, details on the event are listed below.
The Gran Turismo 5 Online Event Finale will begin on May 30 and focus on two tracks: the Top Gear test track with a 2011 Mazda Roadster TC and the 24-hour Nürburgring track using a 2011 Nissan GT-R N24 Schulze Motorsport.
To reap the benefits, you’ll need to register lap times on both circuits and then be sure to log into Gran Turismo 6 with the same PSN account between June 2 and June 29. Doing so nets you the 2009 Abarth Grande Punto, 2011 Renault Sport Megane R.S. Trophy, 2008 Nissan Fairlady Z (Z34), 2012 Tesla Motors Model S Signature Performance and the 2012 Subaru S206 NBR Challenge Package.
