Hayward has provided a boost to the Celtics offense this season with averages of 17.5 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game in 52 appearances. The Celtics are the third-seeded team in the Eastern Conference and are currently matched-up against the Philadelphia 76ers, with Boston holding a 1-0 series lead. The Sixers are currently dealing with their own injuries, with Ben Simmons potentially out for the rest of the season.
Hayward is no stranger to injuries, unfortunately, notably suffering a horrific leg injury in his debut for the Celtics in 2017 following seven seasons with the Utah Jazz.
