GoldLink returns with latest single Joke Ting, featuring Ari PenSmith, announcing an album DIASPORA slated for a June 12 release.
Joke Ting takes a smooth, melodic, summer energy. Based from the instrumental, it sounds lighthearted but GoldLink and Ari PenSmith remind listeners that both them and their partners are not nice. Still, GoldLink delivers a rapid, rhythmic verse and with Ari PenSmith providing silky vocals for the hook.
The new song comes with an album announcement. DIASPORA set to release June 12 features GoldLink’s current romantic partner Justine Skye on the cover. Joke Ting is the first official single from the project. Recently, GoldLink teamed up with Peewee Longway on Got Muscle and Maleek Berry and Bibi Bourelly on Zulu Screams.
