Warner Bros. has decided to move up the release date of the highly-anticipated film, Godzilla vs. Kong. Instead of the initial release date, Godzilla vs. Kong will arrive on March 26. The film will be available early in both theaters and on HBO Max.
“Legends collide as Godzilla and Kong, the two most powerful forces of nature, clash in a spectacular battle for the ages. As a squadron embarks on a perilous mission into fantastic uncharted terrain, unearthing clues to the Titans’ very origins and mankind’s survival, a conspiracy threatens to wipe the creatures, both good and bad, from the face of the earth forever,” Warner Bros. writes.
As Godzilla vs. Kong moves up to the month of March, HBO Max will see one of its major releases pushed back a few months. Initially, The Many Saints of Newark was set to be released on March 12. However, it has been pushed back to September 24. While it will still be available through HBO Max, theaters may reopen by that time.
This is simply the latest move in the ever-changing film industry.
