If you haven’t had a chance to see David Fincher’s American version of ‘The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo’ I recommend you check it out ASAP because it’s truly a great film (one of the best of 2011 in my opinion). For those of you not willing to fork over the sky-high theater prices though, you won’t have to wait much longer! It appears Sony Pictures plans to release the film on Blu-Ray/DVD March 20th of this year.
Seems early for a film that just came out over the Christmas season but I’m not complaining. It’s quite a long movie but definitely deserves more than one viewing due to its complexity.
As of now the only special feature included is an audio commentary by director David Fincher (which sounds pretty awesome considering he is one of my favorite directors!) and I’m sure there will be more to come. I’m most curious to find out how newcomer Rooney Mara snabbed the coveted role of Lisbeth Salander!
