The New York Giants are swiping away a top offensive lineman from a rival team. The Giants are reportedly set to sign former New England Patriots offensive lineman Nate Solder. The deal for Solder will be an expensive one as the team is reportedly signing him to a four-year deal worth an estimated $62 million with $35 million guaranteed. It will make him the highest paid offensive lineman in the league.

Solder, 29, was a first round pick by the Patriots in 2011 out of the University of Colorado. He won two Super Bowls with the Patriots and started 98 regular season games in his seven years with New England.
For the Giants, they get possibly the top offensive lineman available in free agency. Solder has been the man who protected Tom Brady for many years and now he’ll go on to possibly protect Eli Manning for whatever may be left of his time with the team.
