Tuesday, Milwaukee All-Star Giannis Antetokounmpo implied his preference between his coaches from the past two seasons, seemingly siding with current coach Mike Budenholzer.
During a Q and A session with the media, Wisconsin ABC Affiliate WISN’s Stephen Watson began a question to Antetokounmpo: “Last night’s game feels like a game you would have lost last season,” prompting Giannis to interject to credit the Bucks’ recent good fortunes to Coach Budenholzer.
Talking to Giannis about the differences playing for Bud vs. Kidd was really enlightening today.
I made a statement about last night being a game they would have lost last yr & Giannis cut me off before my question to praise Bud.

Then, when questioned by Eric Nehm of The Athletic on whether or not ex-Head Coach Jason Kidd would have taken the same approach, Giannis expressed his perceived differences between the two.
I followed up by saying, "Well, surely, you would have gotten the same conversation from Jason last year though. If you came out slowly and sluggishly against the Bulls, Jason would have said the same thing. What's the difference?"

A Hall of Fame Point Guard, Kidd took the reins as Head Coach of the Bucks in 2014 before being fired from the position in January of last season.
Since being appointed Head Coach of the Bucks, Budenholzer has led the team to a record of 13-5, currently second place in the Eastern Conference.
