The LSU Tigers have picked up the commitment of Georgetown transfer forward Josh LeBlanc. Will Wade has picked up a talented, but troubled commitment from the former forward of Patrick Ewing. He left the Hoyas amidst an investigation into misconduct that he was reportedly involved with. The implications of that could be determined later by the NCAA.

The move to LSU isn’t surprising for Josh LeBlanc considering his hometown is Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The forward averaged 7.2 points on 59.3 percent shooting paired with 2.7 rebounds in limited games with Patrick Ewing and the Hoyas. Theirs some talent there and Will Wade will have a chance at a redemption story with the hometown forward LeBlanc.
Mac McClung is out here making highlights for @GeorgetownHoops with his passing too.

The legal issues for LeBlanc and his two former Hoya teammates appears to be over, but the NCAA could still decide to get involved in the incident. It is impossible to know how that situation could impact the forward and his future in college basketball. He will get to play in his hometown and try to move past his legal issues.
It isn’t exactly known when LeBlanc will be eligible, but the earliest would be the start of the 2020-2021 season. Josh LeBlanc is getting a second chance at LSU and it could very well be his last. The former four-star recruit has a chance to be a hometown star for the Tigers. Will Wade continues to pull in talent for the LSU Tigers, but drama seems to continue to follow the young head coach wherever he goes.
