‘Superman vs Batman’ has added Wonder Woman into the mix.
Gal Gadot has been cast to play the iconic role of Wonder Woman in the upcoming sequel.
Gadot has previously appeared in three films from the ‘Fast & Furious’ franchise and had roles in ‘Knight and Day’ and ‘Date Night’.
She will star along side Henry Cavill as Superman and Ben Affleck as Batman.
Director Zack Snyder said he was happy with the decision.
“Not only is Gal an amazing actress, but she also has that magical quality that makes her perfect for the role,” said Snyder. “We look forward to audiences discovering Gal in the first feature film incarnation of this beloved character.”
‘Superman vs Batman’ is slated to be released in 2015.
