Chicago, Illinois native G Herbo has kicked off the weekend by delivering a new project called Strictly For My Fans II. The 12-track project arrives with contributions from GloRilla, Mello Buckzz and Drench.
G Herbo launched the Strictly For My Fans series in November 2016. Released in the midst of soulful hits like Solange’s A Seat At The Table and Childish Gambino’s Awaken! My Love, the 2016 mixtape stayed true to the Chicago native’s roots. His unique flow paired with cinematic drill production created a cohesive 11-track LP that was a hit within the realm of social media and the culture at large. Similar to its sequel, the LP included a limited number of features. The first installment of the series included one collaboration with Lil’ Bibby called “Tired.”
In the seven years that have passed since Strictly For My Fans dropped, the Chicago native has remained on top of his game through joint projects like Swervo with Southside, viral freestyles and tapping in with emerging acts like Kay Flock and Nardo Wick. Now, he’s ready to tap in with his biggest supporters by way of his latest project.
