Herbert “G Herbo” Wright and members of his team have been accused of conducting a multi-year, million-dollar fraud scheme. Alongside manager Antonio “T-Glo” Strong, rapper Joseph “Joe Rodeo” Williams, Steven Hayes Jr., Demario Sorrells and Terrence Bender, Herbo is being accused of making large purchases using fake identities and false credit card information. Purchases allegedly include luxury car rentals, private jets, limo services, vacations and much more. Most recently, Strong and others are being accused of using false information to book a hotel stay in downtown Chicago this fall.
Strong was reportedly charged with wire fraud in September. Reports suggest that authorities have identified him as the ringleader of the operation. Williams also turned himself in on November 24, but was released on bond.
“These are red flags for the opportunity to flee,” U.S. District Judge Robert Dow said.
“[Strong] says that he would not do that, and his parents are willing to take him in. But who is to say that in the middle of the night, when the gravity of the charges sinks in, and maybe the weight of the evidence, he will not decide to flee?”
Herbo has yet to make a comment on these most recent charges.
