For many, Valentine’s Day is a celebration of love for our significant others and our chosen family. For others, it can be a day of stress and angst. Unfortunately, the man who gave us hits such as “Real Sisters” and “Too Comfortable” has come to hate February 14. In his most recent music video, Future sat down with the perfect man to discuss his issues with the commercial holiday, Kevin Samuels. While speaking to Samuels, the Atlanta native explains that he just can’t enjoy Valentine’s Day because he has too many woman to please.
“When you got more than one, two, three, four, five, six b*tches, Valentine’s Day the worst day, when a n*gga rich/Got more than one, got Catholics, got Christians/Got a Muslim, got Egyptians, they saying they miss me,” Future breaks down in his emotional tune known as “Worst Day.”
“Valentine’s Day, the worst day, got too many to please/I popped a half a pink pill, and put my mind at ease/I bought you all these gifts, chain your heart all in pieces/Try to pass out new whips, yeah, but all you want is me.”
In the midst of a pandemic, a brewing conflict in Europe, inflation and so much more, it’s hard not to truly empathize with Future’s tough, heartbreaking dilemma. As a community, we can come together and support brother Future by checking out his video below and possibly offering a bit of advice.
