Atlanta’s own Future is preparing for a major return this month. Earlier today, the influential act announced that his ninth studio album will be called I Never Liked You. Adding to the announcement, Future also shared the album’s cover art. Simplistic in nature, the project’s artwork centers Future as he sleeps in the back of a luxury vehicle while wearing a designer violet outfit.
Future’s upcoming project, I Never Liked You, is expected to feature a number of prominent acts. While he has not released a track list, the Atlanta native has hinted that Babyface Ray, Kanye West, FKA Twigs and a few other big names were involved in the making of the project. As for the content of the album, fans can expect Future to be as toxic as he’s ever been. Back in February, Future shared a track called “Worst Day” that reflected on how hard it is to entertain different women on Valentine’s Day.
Last week, Pusha T met all expectations with his fourth solo studio album, It’s Almost Dry. Let’s see if Future can keep the momentum going on April 29, 2022. While we wait for the full project to hit streaming services, check out the album’s artwork below.
