We can all agree that French Montana’s ‘Unforgettable’ is a hit. But we can also agree that what he’s doing with the Uganda kids and the country of Uganda is more than admirable. Upon releasing his single ‘Unforgettable‘, Montana was more than touched by the kids who he discovered on YouTube. He then featured them in his ‘Unforgettable’ music video featuring Swae Lee which was shot in the capital of Uganda. Not only did he help bring awareness to the talents these kids possess as dancers, he took time out to really understand the hardships that they face. One in particular, healthcare.
To help do his part and as he has had urged on others to do so, French Montana donated $100,000 to build/expand the Suubi Health Center. Along with the help of the MAMA Hope Organizaion who looks to bring awareness to health issues in Africa, their mission is almost complete.
In a new video shared by French through his personal Instagram account, an update was shown on the progress made. Thanks to his hefty donation, the Suubi Health Center’s expansion is nearing completion. A staff quarters which is adjacent to the new facility, will now allow less travel time for doctors and staff. As for the facility itself, there will be services for 286,000 locals in the area.
We can go ahead and give French Montana the Humanitarian of the Year award now. Great job giving back Check out the video below giving us an update on French’s contributions.
