Only 48 hours remain until Drake and Kanye West reunite for a performance at the Los Angeles Coliseum. While thousands of fans are unable to make it to the venue for the show, there may be a more cost-effective alternative.
As reported by West Sub Ever on Twitter, the concert may be available in iMax theaters on December 9. However, it is unclear how much tickets will cost or what markets the film will be available in. With that said, there are a few details that we do know. The concert livestream will reportedly begin at 11:50 p.m. EST and run for approximately two to three hours. John Schreiber of CBS 2 in Los Angeles has also reported that construction has begun on the stage and surrounding area.
“Massive build out tonight for the Ye (formerly Kanye West) and Drake concert set for Dec. 9th at the LA Coliseum . Looks like a circular mound is being built with sand and concrete or stucco. At first, thought this was a monster truck rally setup,” Schreiber tweeted.
While many details regarding the show are still being worked out, the goal of the concert remains the same. The two artists are working together to secure the release of Larry Hoover and others who may be facing similar legal hurdles.
“I believe this event will not only bring awareness to our cause but prove to people everywhere how much more we can accomplish when we lay our pride aside and come together,” Kanye West said about the benefit concert.
Stay tuned for more details about the highly-anticipated show.
