It’s that time of the year where we start speculating just when Frank Ocean will be releasing new music. Going on 3 years since the release of his sophomore studio album, Blonde, one can say that fans are starving for new material.
In true Frank Ocean fashion, the singer has now sent supporters into a frenzy with his latest post on his official Tumblr page.
As shown by the screenshot above, we see two 2019 slots and one for 2020. More exciting, a March 1 date is displayed along with SZA’s first name, Solana, KL, who could be Kendrick Lamar, and Andre, which must be the one and only Andre 3000. Not giving us much to work with, this being anything but the musical collaboration of our dreams would be a massive disappointment.
On the brighter side, we have something great to look forward to on March 1, which is a Friday and falls in line with the day of the week that new music is released. Weeks away, enjoy a clip of Frank Ocean’s cover of “The Weekend” on loop until March arrives.
