The Foo Fighters are the latest celebs to take part in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.
Putting their own unique twist on the challenge, the group recreates the famous prom scene from the cult movie Carrie.
Dave Grohl is seen donning a tiara in the hilarious clip, while drummer Taylor Hawkins plays Grohl’s date Tommy.
Pat Smear and Nate Mendel play the naughty bullies who drop the bucket on their hands, this time with ice instead of pig’s blood.
Still confused on the purpose of the ALS challenge?
Well, the challenge aims to raise awareness for ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), a terminal illness that weakens and stiffens muscles. The challenge involves people to either having bucket of freezing water poured over them and nominating others to participate, or donate to the charity, although most people are doing both.
Grohl nominated Carrie author Stephen King, John Travolta and Jack Black to participate in the challenge.
Celebs far and wide have participated in the challenge including David Beckham, Tom Cruise, Lady Gaga, Kerry Washington, Chris Brown and more.
Since the start of the challenge 22 days ago, the ALS foundation has raised over 22 million.
Foo Fighters will release their next album Sonic Highways on November 10.
