If you haven’t noticed, Fetty Wap is on fire right now. With the massive success of his debut hit, ‘Trap Queen’, which peaked at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100, expectations were set high for the single’s followup. It looks like ‘My Way’, is on track to match or even surpass those expectations as the single has landed at #7 on this week’s Billboard Hot 100 chart, just beneath ‘Trap Queen’ at #6. In it’s previous week, it sat at #87 based only on the airplay of the high profile, but unofficial, Drake remix. Airplay along with officially being made available on digital outlets last week (July 17), Fetty’s 2nd hit shows now signs of declining any time soon. The digital sales debut for ‘My Way’ made a statement with 152,000 copies sold. Other familiar faces in the Top 10 of the Hot 100 include Omi’s ‘Cheerleader’ at #1, The Weeknd’s ‘Can’t Feel My Face’ at #2, and Wiz Khalifa’s ‘See You Again’ at #5.
