Could Fergie see a potential comeback in 2016? Well, if things go her way, fans of the singer will see her return to the spotlight happening much sooner than later. Just last year, the singer kicked off what was hopes of the start of her new era of music with her Summer-friendly single, ‘L.A. Love.’ Delivering a banging track, the record didn’t deliver as much as Fergie and her team would have liked it to. Scaling back and putting a newer focus on her upcoming material, the self-proclaimed “dutchess” is looking to take another swing at things with more new music in the very near future, if reports end up being true.
In fact, her second solo LP is reportedly due in March and she’s readying multiple visuals for the campaign launch.
News of Fergie Ferg’s updates surfaced via WWD, which reported that the star jetted over to Paris over the weekend “to shoot the cover and press materials for her long-awaited second solo album, due in March.” The photoshoot was a collaborative effort alongside photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, stylist Carine Roitfeld and creative innovator Giovanni Bianco.
With January just a few days away from ending, if a projected release month of March is the plan, new material from Fergie will more than likely debut very soon. With September marking 10 years since the release of her debut solo album, there’s no doubt that the singer is coming with a purpose and point to prove with her new LP. Sure enough, these are exciting times indeed for all involved.
